Benno ter Kuile is an experienced microbiologist who wrote almost one hundred articles as first or corresponding author in leading journals. He is reviewer for a long list of journals in his field, associate editor of Frontiers in Microbiology and member of the editorial board of Microorganisms. Over the years he has been working in the fields of microbial ecology, marine microbiology, protozoan physiology, food microbiology and antimicrobial resistance. In combination with having worked in four countries on three continents, he has a broad scientific scope and understands scientific procedures worldwide.
